Electrical Installation Condition Reports
Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) are essential for keeping your home safe and compliant with UK regulations. In England, Under The Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020, landlords are required to have the electrical installations in their properties inspected and tested, at least every five years. Neglecting electrical maintenance may result in insurance claims being denied. I perform thorough inspections of your electrical installations to identify safety risks or faults. Key safety checks include:
Is your fuse board compliant with current regulations? (e.g., circuit breakers and RCD protection)
Is everything properly earthed? (e.g., bonding to gas or water mains)
Is the wiring installed correctly? (e.g., for sockets, lights, switches)
